Hangin'

Homework done. Dinner digesting. We're hanging out. The rare night with no soccer, chess club, horseback riding or musical rehearsal. Basketball, karate and cross country are done for the fall. The kids have that 1.5 hours before bedtime when they can be what they are...kids.

Dylan is on the couch doing some sort of karate kick dancing to Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers, Mellencamp and others. He stopped only long enough to smile for this picture. Taylor was in her room playing Christmas songs on the piano but has now joined Dylan and is strumming air guitar. They keep bringing the CD back to Miley ("7 Things"). Earlier, Mackenzie dragged me upstairs to help her become her favorite hero...Mega Mindy. She's the superhero on Belgian kids television. Mack loves Mindy...knows the poses, sings the song. Now little Mack is running around as Mega Mindy. It's a good night.
