the Boss

Mackenzie...put her dirty gardening hands up to the phone to show nana...said "hi" to my feet under the shower curtain (my feet "answered").

Her world is full of real and imagined spiders. To Mackenzie, ants are spiders, a thread the other day was a snake and any foreign object on clothing is a "bug" of some type.

Her life is a mix of clumsy bumps and strange little surprises. Recently...a big smile from Kenzie as she pushed a door to the wall...laughs became tears as the door bounced from the wall and nailed her! Eventually, other lessons in life will be much more painful, of course, but, for now, these are tragedies.

She's only 2 but she's already had her first field trip. She views her parents as servants. Come to think of it, so do Dylan and Taylor! She gets her way with her brother and sister more than she does with her parents. In other words, they are bigger suckers than us!

A soft "yay" escapes when given permission..it's hard to say no to the boss...
