Some things the same...some different

Halloween in Belgium - ok, it doesn't really exist. Only in the last 5 years has it really even been recognized. So we got hooked into the international school celebration of our lovely holiday. We got the kids dressed up, had a route of 20 houses to go to and celebrated with all the other non-Belgian's. The kids enjoyed it (although they missed the walking to the houses rather than driving). As you can see, we were able to pull together some costumes. Dylan of course, being the Stars Wars fanatic that he is, had to be Luke Skywalker. There weren't any other options. But not the Luke from the New Hope episode but the one where he wears black. Thank goodness my black raincoat doubles as a Jedi Night outfit. Taylor was Super Girl again (and she lives this role every day) and Mackenzie fit right into the pretty fairy (all innocent on the outside but with a little trickery on the inside). Ted and I did not dress up, however, we are attending a Halloween party on Halloween where "Party Dress" is requested. We may have to be the Incredibles once again.
