Why a blog?

I'm sure that many of our children's noteworthy moments and stages have been forgotten...lost in a torrent of memories. The reason for this blog is to hold on to these moments and to record the story of our life and travels in Europe. Just as important, it's a way for loved ones to keep up on our goings on. Often, when I'm on the phone, I can't think of any of the stories I want to tell...this blog should fix that. Plus, now you won't get one of my long e-mails ever again (until Christmas)!
